The LightUnit improves visibility for ladder rungs and side rails during nighttime, directing individuals in distress toward the safety ladder. 

In regions below 64°N, the Solar Powered version functions independently. The solar panel charges the battery pack during the daytime, while the LightUnit’s power-saving algorithm ensures year-round functionality. With a fully charged battery, the LightUnit can operate for over 30 nights even if the solar panel is covered. When installing on a LifeLadder Thor^®, two Stainless Steel Supports are provided. For installation on a third-party ladder, a Wallmount is included, designed to fit any standard dock ladder. The Wallmount is fixed to the quay wall using M12 expansion bolts, french screws or similar.
